On this page you will find information on how to make a donation to the Temple
The Temple management vigorously strives to reduce the amount of unreceiptable donations. In turn devotees can help by following the instructions given on this page
Donation Receipt
The Temple attributes utmost importance to issuing donation receipts. Should you not receive an official donation receipt from the Temple within six weeks, please check the spam & junk folders of your email. If you still cannot find your receipt please email admin@sainathmandir.org
Income Tax Credit
The Temple being a Registered Canadian Charity, donations to the Temple are eligible for Canadian income tax credits. For details on how to calculate income tax credits & eligibility period to claim tax credits please visit Government of Canada’s website on claiming charitable tax credits
Donate electronically by etransfer
The Temple’s most preferred mode of donation is email transfer
Email transfer to etransfer@sainathmandir.org
IMPORTANT Upon making an email transfer, fill the form on the right & submit. This is a very important step to follow when making an etransfer in order for the Temple to know who has the made the etransfer donation & to issue an official donation receipt
Donate online via PayPal
It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to make a donation via PayPal, Simply click on the button below to donate using a major credit or debit card. Although PayPal charges a commission, for ease of financial administration, this is the Temple’s second most preferred mode of donation
Donate in person at the Temple in cash or by cheque
While donating in person at the Temple, it is very important to use the Temple’s official donation envelope
To donate by cheque, write the cheque to the full name of the Temple. i.e.
Satchidananda Sadguru Shirdi Sainath Maharaj Mandir
Fill the form on the donation envelope clearly & legibly in upper case. Email address is mandatory
Place the cash or cheque in the envelope and drop the envelope in the Hundi
